Our goal, as a team, is to service the Yonge and Sheppard area with high-quality and accessible healthcare. We are dedicated to putting in the time with each patient to meet their needs. Our multidisciplinary approach aims to address your urgent health concerns as well as achieve your long term health goals. An in-house pharmacy and free nearby parking are in place for your convenience. We are currently hiring specialists to bring accessible healthcare to your neighbourhood.

Dr. Lotar Nunez Sotelo M.D
Family Doctor
Born and raised in Toronto, not far from the clinic, Dr. Nunez Sotelo enjoyed a childhood of playing road hockey on the suburban streets of North York and soccer on its fields.
He graduated from medical school at Western University in 2017 and completed his residency at The University of Toronto in 2019. Since then, he has practiced in various settings including family practices, urgent care clinics, and addiction clinics.

His goal with Health First Medical is to give back to the community that raised him. In his opinion, the best way to do this is to provide accessible, high-quality, medical care with compassion and understanding. ​​​
Dr. Dov Gebien M.D
Urgent Care Doctor
Counseling/Psychotherapy
A former emergency-medicine physician trained in a Level 1 Trauma Centre in Grand Rapids, Michigan. After 15 years of practice, he transitioned to community care to enjoy a regular schedule and spending more time with his patients.​

Dr. Gebien's current passion is researching a new mechanism that may explain the elusive Sudden Infant Death Syndrome. Research into novel "Diaphragmatic Cramp-Contracture" (DCC) is currently in the early preliminary
stages with The Hospital for Sick Children as well as Boston Children’s Hospital
(Harvard University) and Kings College Hospital in London, England.

In his spare time, Dr. Gebien enjoys playing golf and tennis, as well aswriting and recording original music on the piano and guitar.
